SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Computer Manager, this position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Tec Bar; troubleshooting/diagnostics and facilitating computer and iPhone repairs, maintaining the demo units on the floor, and assisting the Computer Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Tec Bar. Promotes Bookstore sales by providing high quality customer service; demonstrates knowledge of products and services; is responsive to customer needs. Works efficiently as a team member, taking initiative to perform tasks, resolve problems and ensure a successful outcome.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION:

  Demonstrate strong knowledge in computer hardware, software and/or related items.

  Physically repair Mac laptops, iPhones and other computer devices.

  Use resources provided by Aztec Shops for training and ACMT & ACiT (iOS) certification (approximately 25-30 hours of training). Successful completion of ACMT & ACiT exams required.

  Maintain active certifications for Mac, iOS Operating System.

  Report correct diagnostic results and provide services to customers as proper solutions to their repair.

  Follow all proper Tec Bar repair procedures and processes actively and correctly.

  Monitor the Tec Bar counter with minimal supervision.
  
• 
  Provide excellent customer service to all customers while working on diagnostics and computer repairs.

  Communicate quotes and general information to customers using e-mail and phone.
  
• 
  Accurately complete required database forms for repair, including communication in repair notes.
  
• 
  Focus to become knowledgeable on all Aztecnology department store products.

  Enroll and train on Apple SEED app, minimally attaining 250 points per month.
  
• 
  Observes all safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  
• 
  Daily functions may include cashiering and working on the sales floor.

Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The minimum requirement for applicants is a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) degree equivalent is required; one year retail/customer service experience is preferred. Applicable pursuit in a degree of relatable field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) is preferred. A passion for technology preferred. Undergraduate students with 2 years before scheduled graduation date, preferred. Related experience and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to read, write and understand English. Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, guidelines and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees using correct English and a well-modulated voice. Requires good voice quality that is conversational and professional.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Requires basic math skills with the ability to count in ascending or descending order. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.



REASONING ABILITY:

MANUAL DEXTERITY:
